IMPS 2022 Offers Another Opportunity to Learn how EdSurvey Can Help You Analyze Large-Scale International Data.

Event date: 7/11/2022 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM Export event

Want to learn to how to analyze large-scale international data using R? Join Ting Zhang, Emmanuel Sikali, and Paul Bailey in Bologna, Italy on July 11 at the IMPS 2022 conference, where they will be conducting a course 10:00AM-5:30PM.

The course, “Analyzing NAEP and TIMSS Data with Direct Estimation Using the R Packages EdSurvey and Dire,” consists of three parts (1) instructions on large-scale assessment data analyses including theories of sampling, weighting, IRT scaling and plausible values (2) introduction to R, RStudio and hands-on sessions on large-scale data processing, merging, manipulation, and descriptive statistics. (3) hands-on sessions on analyzing large-scale assessments data using two approaches: the plausible values approach and the direct estimation approach. The latter allows researchers to add new variables to their analytical models, and to generate new sets of plausible values.

Reduced-price registration for IMPS 2022 ends after May 9th. The full conference runs July 11-15, 2022.
