Mark Your Calendars for the Annual Meetings for the American Educational Research Association (AERA) April 21-26, 2022 and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) April 21-24, 2022

Event date: 4/21/2022 - 4/26/2022 Export event

The American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the National Council on Measurement in Education (NCME) are concurrently holding their annual meetings (April 21-26, 2022 and April 21-24, 2022, respectively) in San Diego, California. The theme for the AERA meeting is "Cultivating Equitable Education Systems for the 21st Century" while the overarching focus of the NCME meeting is “Turning the Page – The Next Chapter for Educational Measurement.”

With its “next chapter” focus, some of the NCME presentations and trainings overlap significantly with the mission of NAEP Research and Development. The following events are particularly germane:

  • The EdSurvey Team will conduct a Training: “Analyzing NAEP/TIMSS Data with Direct Estimation in R, Theory and Practice”
  • The Process Data Team will give a Demonstration: iSmart, an interactive product of process data for use in item profiling.
  • The Process Data Team will conduct a Training: “Process Squared: Mining the Processes in NAEP Process Data”.

Register for one or both annual meetings, here. Look for exact times for the NCME trainings and demonstrations in the Pathable program when you register.
